The "Jérôme" 2-point breastplate, made of high-quality oiled European leather, is attached exclusively to the sides of the saddle to prevent the risk of catching the front hooves. The wide, soft chest pad, with its side attachment, ensures sufficient support for the saddle and prevents it from slipping backward. The anatomical shape and the elastic side straps give the horse the freedom it needs for jumping and eventing: sufficient legroom without constricting the shoulders. The soft withers pad and the padded rings and buckles also provide the horse with exceptional comfort. The contrasting stitching and the decorative embroidery on the chest pad with the Kavalkade emblem give the breastplate an elegant appearance despite its functionality. Oiled
leather is vegetable-tanned and retains its natural grain. During the tanning process, it is treated with high-quality oils, making it extremely soft and water- and dirt-repellent. This ensures that the leather remains supple, durable, and easy to care for. The special patina that develops with use is by no means a flaw; rather, it lends the product a distinctive personality, individuality, and character.

Care instructions: Remove dirt with a cloth and treat as needed with suitable care products (e.g. Horseman's One Step by Absorbine, item no. 504 01). For longer storage, clean thoroughly and store in a bag to protect it from sunlight, dust, and moisture.
Caution: Due to the unique nature of leather, oil residues may transfer to other surfaces. Avoid prolonged and direct contact with light-colored fabrics, permeable surfaces, and other leathers that could inadvertently absorb the oil.
