The D-Rings prevent the bit from being pulled through the horse‘s mouth. It therefore lies steadily on the tongue. Gentle pivotal pressure is placed on the tongue ensuring light and precise rein aids. The fixed rings make it more direct than a loose ring snaffle. The special shape of the mouthpiece provides precise rein aids. The curved arms of the mouthpiece avoid uncomfortable pressure on the sensitive borders of the tongue.
